I earned my bachelor in Biological Sciences at UNLV, minoring in Neuroscience. My passion is to expand my understanding from human physiology to oncology. Joining Dr. Guha’s lab in February 2025, I have enjoyed learning about epigenetic effects on every aspect of living organisms besides genetics and environment. With the experience and knowledge from the lab, I am confident for my success to become a physician. In the meantime, I love walking, reading banned books, and watching gaming on Youtube.
My name is Kevin Saldana, and I am in my second semester at UNLV, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry. I joined Dr. Guha’s lab because I am deeply passionate about learning, particularly in the field of cellular biology. During my time in the lab, I hope to expand my knowledge and gain valuable research experience. I enjoy research because it allows me to explore my passion for science and discovery while furthering my understanding of the world around us.Outside of research and academics I enjoy going to the gym and hanging out with my closest friends and making memories that will last a lifetime. I aim to graduate in the spring of 2028, attend medical school, and one day open my own practice as a physician, becoming first doctor in my family
